Gary Phillips, Founder/General Manager, Trombone

Gary Phillips works for 3M Corporation and attends Fellowship Church in Grapevine. He was raised in the First Baptist Church in Keller and baptized at age 14. He was a member of the TCU Jazz Ensemble in 1983-84, and was a member of 531st Air Force National Guard Band from 1985-88. Gary was a member of the Tulsa Praise Orchestra from its founding in 1995 until his return to Texas in November 1999. Following the plan that has made the TPO thrive, he organized a reading session of 20 Metroplex-area church musicians in December 1999, and in January 2000 the MPO was formed.
