MPO takes prison ministry to East Texas
The MPO traveled to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's George Beto Unit near Palestine several times, and is preparing now for its second trip to the Boyd Unit in Fairfield. The MPO has also served in the unit near Wilmer Hutchins, and considers prison ministry one of its top callings.
First-ever Sacred Jazz Fest features MPO performance
The Metro Praise Orchestra was one of 11 bands to appear at the first-ever Sacred Jazz Fest, in 2007. The second fest will be at First United Methodist, Denton on Saturday, October 24. Stay tuned for more details.
